Volunteer Role Description

Parents’ Committee (non-alumni)

Duke Parents’ Committee is made up of non-alumni parents that will serve a one-year renewable term and will be asked to:

Make their own leadership gift or pledge commitment (minimum of $1,000) early in the campaign
Educate fellow Duke parents about the importance of supporting the Duke Annual Fund and helping reach the goals of the Parents’ Program
Help build relationships between Duke parents and the university
Report the results of contacts to the class co-chairs and the Parents’ Program director, and follow up with prospects as needed
Follow up with prospects as suggested by the class co-chairs and Parents’ Program director
Attend committee events during Parents’ and Family Weekend.
